Hunter Hope Barnett is an Armenian American multi-hyphenate artist creating work on stage, on screen and behind the scenes.
She began her journey at 4 years old with the local youth production of High-School Musical wearing pink satin pants and a blonde wig her mother dressed her in; an LA native she developed a deep passion for the arts in her bedroom while studying artists from Barbara Streisand to Michael Jackson to Parris Goebel. In 2020 she moved to NYC to join the second class of the new Collaborative Arts BFA program at New York University’s Tisch School Of the Arts where she focused on the creation of original work through writing, directing and producing.
Upon graduating the Spring of 2024, she is a certified Jack of All Trades; she made her Off-Broadway debut in John Fisher’s Medea: A Musical Comedy which she both choreographed and performed in. While in school she trained extensively with one of NYC’s most competitive Hip Hop Companies, Deshawn Prince’s The Royal Thieves. She has danced in all of the local Dance showcases: Choreographer’s Carnival, ClubNYC and Sybarite. Currently she trains with Sheila Gray and vocally with Glenn Seven Allen.
She is s a true triple threat with a high C, a double pirouette and a stock of on-command tears.
